July 2026 Tree Tips, Happy Birthday to America and Our Loyal Tree Loving Customers!

Happy July! As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday this Independence Day, everyone at Arbor Wizard would like to wish our customers, friends, and fellow tree lovers a safe, happy, and memorable Fourth of July!

July in Texas brings intense heat, making it one of the most important months to care for your trees. Healthy trees not only add beauty and shade to your property, but they also help reduce cooling costs during the hottest days of summer.

July Tree Care Tips

  • Water deeply, not frequently. Mature trees benefit from slow, deep watering that reaches the root zone.
  • Check for heat stress. Wilting leaves, early leaf drop, or scorched leaf edges can signal your tree needs attention.
  • Inspect for storm damage. Summer thunderstorms can leave behind broken limbs that should be removed before they become hazardous.
  • Watch for pests. Heat and drought can weaken trees, making them more susceptible to insects and disease.
  • Avoid excessive pruning. Only remove dead, damaged, or dangerous branches during the hottest part of the summer unless recommended by a certified arborist.

Whether you have towering oaks, beautiful pecans, ornamental trees, or newly planted saplings, a little preventative care in July can help keep them healthy for years to come.

Thank you to all of our loyal customers for trusting Arbor Wizard with your trees. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to helping keep North Texas properties beautiful, safe, and thriving.

From our family to yours, have a wonderful Fourth of July, enjoy America’s 250th Birthday celebration, and stay cool this summer!

Happy Independence Day!
